# Vehicle Selector / My Garage QA Checklist

Use this checklist after changes to the selector, My Garage, or VIN decoder.

## Guest Flows

- [ ] Vehicle Selector guest save
  - Save a vehicle while logged out.
  - Confirm it appears under selector vehicles.
  - Confirm it becomes the active vehicle for shopping.

- [ ] VIN Decoder guest to selector
  - Decode a VIN while logged out.
  - Click `Use In Vehicle Selector`.
  - Confirm the selector opens with the decoded vehicle loaded.

- [ ] Guest storage migration
  - Seed old guest keys (`lr_guest_saved_vehicles`, `lr_guest_primary_vehicle_id`, `lr_guest_last_active_vehicle_id`).
  - Open Vehicle Selector.
  - Confirm old guest vehicles appear in the new selector storage.

## Logged-In Flows

- [ ] Vehicle Selector sync to My Garage
  - Save a vehicle from Vehicle Selector while logged in.
  - Confirm it appears in My Garage.
  - Save the same vehicle again and confirm it updates or reuses the existing record instead of creating a duplicate.

- [ ] VIN Decoder direct garage save
  - Decode a VIN while logged in.
  - Click `Save To My Garage`.
  - Confirm the vehicle is saved directly and My Garage opens on the saved or updated vehicle.

- [ ] Primary vehicle reflection
  - Set a primary vehicle in My Garage.
  - Open Vehicle Selector.
  - Confirm the same vehicle is loaded or prioritized there.

## Regression Checks

- [ ] Quick shop still carries fitment filters to `Fitment.php`.
- [ ] Guest vehicle merge on login still clears local guest storage after a successful merge.
- [ ] Clearing guest selector vehicles removes both new and legacy guest storage keys.
